2005
Post-graduate M.Arch in Habitat Design of 2-years program introduced as one of its first Master’s specialization in India
2010
Recognized as ‘Doctoral Research Center’ offering Ph D degree under Visvesvararya Technological University, Belagavi
2014
B. Arch intake increased from 80 to 120
2016
‘BMS College of Architecture’ as a stand-alone college of architecture moving to the exclusive 2.3 acres campus housed in three building blocks A, B, C
2018
BMSCA embarks upon state-of-the-art infrastructure involving well-equipped Library, Innovation labs, Skill labs & Workshops with latest equipment, tools, & software
2019
BMSCA for first time upon participation garners 14th Rank at NIRF All-India ranking by MoE, GOI
2021
BMSCA installs an independent NCC Unit under 39 Karnataka Infantry Battalion NCC HQ - 39 KAR BN NCC, one of the first by an independent college of architecture
2021
BMSCA instates its Annual Techno Fest ‘Envisage’ with great success till date seeing the presence of several eminent personalities from national & international platforms

BMSCA becomes member of prominent organizations spearheading networking and global connect with UN Habitat, IIA, IGBC, BIIC, & others
2022
First batch of B.Arch under BMSCA graduates garnering 6 out of 10 ranks at VTU level including First rank- Gold medal
2023 & 2024
Second & third batches graduate with 9 out of 10 ranks at VTU level including First rank- Gold medal

BMSCA hosts the prestigious COA Zonal Best Thesis Awards for South Zone
